Weistec Engineering – Mercedes-Benz M156 ECU Tune

Description

Weistec Engineering ECU tune for the M156-powered Mercedes-Benz models (2006-2014) with the NA 6.2L V8 (M156). Weistec’s crank figures put the tuned engine at 520 hp and 464 lb-ft, up from 451 hp and 443 lb-ft stock, from a recalibration of the factory ECU software.

Key Features:

• Up to +69 hp / +21 lb-ft: Weistec’s crank estimate of 520 hp and 464 lb-ft, from Dynojet testing; real gains depend on fuel, conditions and supporting modifications.
• CARB EO D-691-3: W.1 is CARB-exempt and street legal in all 50 US states; W.2 is for competition use.
• Stage calibrations: W.1 (Stock Vehicle) and W.2 (Race Exhaust fitted), so the calibration matches the hardware on your car.
• Optional add-ons: Cypher Classic Handheld and 7 Speed TCU Tune (Pre-2019), each selectable when you order.
• Reflash of the factory ECU: the original module is recalibrated rather than replaced with a stand-alone or piggyback unit.
• What changes: improved throttle response, optimized fuel and spark and top speed limiter removed.
