Introducing the TTE850 VTG Stage upgrade for the 3.8-litre flat-six engine. Each TTE850 VTG unit is meticulously crafted from genuine Gen 2 Porsche Turbochargers. The original compressor is replaced with a significantly larger, high-efficiency billet wheel, and the compressor cover is precision-milled to achieve the optimal gap for the new compressor profile. The turbine retains its original design, with blade clipping to enhance flow, reduce exhaust gas temperatures, and decrease rotational mass for improved throttle response. Additionally, the exhaust housing is CNC-milled to further optimize flow characteristics.

Precision Balance and Performance

Achieving perfect balance is critical to the performance and longevity of a TTE upgrade turbocharger. Every TTE turbo undergoes a rigorous, multi-stage balancing process. Individual components are initially balanced at slow speeds up to 2,800 RPM in multiple planes using our dedicated single-part balancing machine. After assembly, the CHRA is dynamically balanced at application-specific speeds of up to 250,000 RPM in multiple planes using our in-house VSR machine, delivering equilibrium standards far exceeding OEM specifications. Each turbocharger is supplied with a serial-numbered balance certificate for verification.
