Labor to Separate & Machine Ring Gear – Wavetrac Differential Rear 8V RS3 & 8S TTRS
This is the labor to separate the ring gear from your OEM 8V TTRS/RS3 open differential, machine it to the correct thickness, and drill the bolt pattern to allow it to be mounted to the Wavetrac differential PN 18-309-190WK.
Applications
- Audi 8V RS3 rear differential
- Audi 8S TT-RS rear differential
- Required for Wavetrac differential PN 18-309-190WK
Before You Ship
- Drain your rear end
- Check OEM backlash
- Remove the OEM differential from the housing
- Remove the bearings
- Box and pad the differential well
- ALWAYS insure the shipment for the cost of a replacement should it get lost
Service Notes
- Turnaround is up to 3-4 weeks
- The finished OEM ring gear is shipped back to you
- You mount it to your Wavetrac differential, press bearings back on, and reinstall
- DO NOT send your complete rear end housing
- Installs into rear ends are not offered at this time
