Description
The RacingLine Stage 3 Forged Monoblock is a 6-piston big brake kit built for regular track use on MQB cars. One-piece forged calipers weigh 5.3kg against 8.6kg factory, on a choice of 355mm or 380mm two-piece floating discs.
Key Features:
- Forged one-piece caliper: Machined from an ultra-strong forged billet on a 5-axis CNC process rather than bolted from two halves, giving a stiffer and lighter 6-piston caliper.
- 5.3kg vs 8.6kg: Caliper, pads and bracket come in well under the factory Golf 7R and S3 assembly, per corner.
- 355mm or 380mm floating discs: Fully-floating two-piece Triple Groove rotors in high cast carbon, for far greater heat capacity and reduced fade.
- Composite ceramic pads with wear sensors: Supplied in the kit, on a generic pad size so replacements are available in any brand or compound.
- Matched to VWG hydraulics: Piston sizes developed against the factory master cylinder and servo for progressive pedal response.
- Complete kit: Discs, calipers, brackets, pads and braided steel lines, with hub adaptors available for extra wheel clearance.

Most OEM wheels need at least a 5mm spacer to clear the calipers; some, such as the Scottsdale, need more. This is the kit for regular heavy track use, where the Stage 2 EVO is the fast-road choice.
